We’re thrilled to announce that MiniDebCamp, MiniDebConf, and FLISOL will take place at the Pampulha Campus of UFMG - Federal University of Minas Gerais, a local landmark situated near Pampulha Lagoon.

The Campus Pampulha of UFMG boasts one of the largest green areas in Belo Horizonte. It starts with the imperial palm trees that form a long straight line along the central strip of Mendes Pimentel Avenue. Alongside this avenue, ironwood trees shape the sidewalks in parallel lines. In the Rectorate’s grove, chichá trees (or arixixá) stand out with their voluminous roots that surface above the ground, along with the cangalha ironwoods, perhaps the oldest species planted on the campus.
Within the campus, numerous academic and administrative units are located, alongside the Ecological Station, an environmental reserve open to the public. It provides space for research, teaching, and outreach activities.

Auditorium and rooms
- On the 27th (Saturday), we will be using rooms in the ICEx (Instituto de Ciências Exatas) building to hold the MiniDebCamp and FLISOL. Soon, we will announce which rooms will be used
- On the 28th (Sunday), we will be using the event room at the Hotel (name to be confirmed) for the continuation of MiniDebCamp activities.
- On the 29th and 30th (Monday and Tuesday), we will be using the B101/102 auditorium in the building named CAD3 for the actual activities of MiniDebConf.

Bus
UFMG provides free buses that circulate within the Campus and the surrounding streets. The CAD3 and ICEx buildings are located more to the left on the maps in the link below.

How to get there from Confins International Airport
At Tancredo Neves International Airport in Confins, there’s a bus service called Airport Connection. Its routes extend to the city center, making stops at the Bus Terminal or on Álvares Cabral Avenue
You can take the line heading to the Downtown area via Avenida Antônio Carlos, which ends at the Bus Terminal. This line, labeled as a ‘local’ service (Line 5250), allows you to get off at the stop in front of UFMG. The fare costs R$ 18.30.
ATTENTION! At certain times, indicated at the ticket counter, the route takes another path to the same destination (downtown or bus terminal), passing through Avenida Cristiano Machado (Line 5270). By choosing this route, you won’t pass through Pampulha Airport or Avenida Antônio Carlos, where UFMG is located. Please inquire at the time of ticket purchase.
There are two other bus options:
- Semi-Express Executive for R$ 23.05 (you can get off at Pampulha Airport and take an Uber/99/taxi to UFMG).
- Executive for R$ 39.75
